You're gonna be POPULAR =D

Well today at good ol' GHS was the annual key club talent show, and I was one of the saps who tried out for it. When I tried out on Monday, I was a nervous wreck. I couldn't help but focus on all the reasons NOT to do it than the positive reasons why it would be a good experience and fun opportunity. After much pushing and shoving from mom and dad, I decided to give it a shot and say "what the heck? who cares what other people think any way?"

I have to say t hat i was really, really, surprised at how well things turned out today! I felt really confident and proud that I had enough courage to attemt something that most people wouldn't. I totally milked it and acted like a total goof, but hey, what's new right?

In the end it really was so incredably fun! maybe i'll look forward to some other kind of performing in the future? =P The worst part was there were JUDGES. yes, actual judges. Ughhhhhh. i didn't even know there was going to be any!
So I decided to have fun and just give my best performance i possibly could. I ended up tying for third place! which shocked me because there were SOOOOO many talented people!!!

After school i recieved a lot of compliments and the, "I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD SING?!?!", haha two girls i've never seen before in my life even came up to me and said good job and that i was their favorite act. O.O OH. MY. SHMOE.
I couldn't believe it! I felt like a celebrity! haha! oh well, now i can't say that i never got to live my five minutes of fame! It really was a neat experience in many ways!! i learned alot from it, and alot about myself as well. I hope i can take all the good things from this experience and take them as i move onto greater things in the future! :D


And for those of you who missed the performance here it is!!!




(please note that this was the first out of two performances, and i really liked the second one A LOT better...but oh well! lol i still had fun!!! ;D)
