Almost like a fairytale

Oh my gosh I'm am seriously SO excited!!!

We all know Prom is two months away, seems like a long time right?
WRONG!!!

Last saturday me and the momster headed down to Orem to look for a prom dress! :D Yes it WAS spur of the moment, and yes, I always end up doing random and spontaneous things!! :)

I love hanging out with my mom for sure! She is a really fun person to drive with and shop with too! We belted Taylor swift's new CD until we got sick of hearing all the mushy gushy crap and that country twang in her voice. I think I'll take a break from that CD for a while thank you very much!

We both ended up busting at this ladies license plate who was in front of us!! It said SEXYMOM. I was busting when mom was like, "What if I had one of those?" I couldn't help but say, "then my friends would be singing stacy's mom!"



When we finally reached Alysse's Bridal I felt my jaw drop as I saw dozens of girls with their parents there! It really WAS prom season!!! We grabbed as many dresses that appealed to both our tastes and headed into a dressing room.

We tried on dress after dress, after dress!! Poor mom, her fingers must have been killing her!

I really felt like a princess when I got to stand up in front of everyone and look at myself in the mirror! I received a lot of compliments and couldn't help but feel somewhat better about myself as I continued on my journey to find the perfect dress.

After 3 hours of brutal murder on my lungs and my mothers fingers, we had finally come to a conclusion.

(oh yeah! sorry for not smiling in these pictures! I really was having a good time! My mom just never warned me when she was going to take it :S)

It was Dress #5!! :D I seriously love it to peices!! It really is like ten times prettier in person too cause you can see all the detail in stuff! I was so happy to have found the perfect dress! :)
